You've made it off the Arcada in one piece, only to face dehydration, angry Sarien spider droids, and the Orat monster! You'll have to make it alive through all of these dangers because the people of Xenon and other systems depend on you. You must make it to a settlement and find a way off this planet to confront the Sariens.

Remember the film "Tremors".
You shouldn't be walking on sand.
Stay close to the mesa rock formation.
There is nothing you need in the desert.

Fun things to do

GrellYou can get yourself eaten by a Kerona desert monster. Like the inhabitants of Kerona say, "Grell and his like dwell in caves below the sand. If you stand on the surface too long you chance becoming a rare moist meal for him."  Walking around the desert for a while will do the trick.
